2006 MLB Top Rookies If you are a rookie card collector then keeping up on new rookie card issues can be a daunting task. Over the past decade or so manufactures have complicated the collector complexity by issuing rookie cards in licensed MLB sets before the player has reached the majors. This was speculating on the part of the manufacturer. The collector buying these sets when they are first issued at a lower price can sometimes enjoy a large gain when a few of the rookies included in the set break out and become superstars. The problem is that most of these minor league and draft pick players may never reach the majors. Some collectors enjoy the speculating. Others would rather have a little more certainty in their collecting. For those that want certainty then waiting until the player actually reaches the majors is a good strategy. Baseballcards101.com offers the following list of 2006 MLB prospect baseball players as a resource for collectors.
